Their team reviews every single home available in each of the destinations and selects the top 3% in each price bracket. If it's on Plum Guide, you can expect consistent, high quality standards.
To win the Plum Award, homes must pass all 4 stages of The Plum Test, culminating in a personal home visit from an independent Home Critic. As a guest, it means Plum Guide has done the hard work for you and is now listing the top of the top.
How does it work?
Every time Plum Guide launches a new destination, they create a database of all the homes available.
Plum Guide then systematically reviews every home, and shortlists the ones with great design, with great reviews, in great locations.
After a host interview, the top contenders are nominated for the Plum Award. These are Plum Guide’s up and coming homes.
To win the Plum Award, a home needs to complete two final stages: it must delight a Plum Guide guest, and it must pass the Plum Home Test, conducted by an independent Home Critic.
