Thanksgiving Potluck

Thanksgiving has a whole new meaning this year. With Stay Wildflower's different ‘giving back’ initiatives, it has been an eye opening experience to help displaced individuals with basic necessities such as housing. It truly became a full circle moment when our team hosted a Thanksgiving potluck for these assisted refugees, whether they are still staying with us or found long-term accommodations. The party was memorable for many reasons but the biggest being that this was these Ukrainian’s first Thanksgiving. It was complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and an iconic pumpkin pie. There was something so special to share a meal together, and ultimately have an evening full of joy and laughter.

Thanksgiving is truly the holiday of gratefulness, giving, and community. We hope to do it again next year!
